Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Rex ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. Rex is operated by the Rex Team ("we", "us", "our").

2. Description of Service

Rex is an AI-powered X/Twitter growth coaching platform. The Service analyzes your writing style, generates content suggestions, and provides engagement analytics. Rex accesses your X/Twitter account via the X API to read your tweets, analyze your voice, and optionally post content on your behalf.

3. Account Terms

  • You must provide a valid X/Twitter account to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activity that occurs under it.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including violating X/Twitter's Terms of Service.

4. X API Usage & OAuth

Rex connects to your X/Twitter account using OAuth 2.0 with PKCE. By authorizing Rex, you grant us permission to:

  • Read your tweets, profile information, and engagement metrics.
  • Post tweets and threads on your behalf when you explicitly request it.
  • Store your OAuth tokens securely to maintain your connection.

You can revoke access at any time through your X/Twitter account settings. Rex's use of the X API is subject to X/Twitter's Developer Agreement and Policy.

5. AI-Generated Content

Rex uses artificial intelligence to analyze your writing style and generate content suggestions. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content is provided as suggestions only. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving any content before it is posted.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content.
  • You retain ownership of any content you create or post using the Service.
  • Rex may use your tweets and writing style to build a voice profile that personalizes suggestions. This profile is used solely for your account.

6. Waitlist & Subscriptions

Rex may offer access via a waitlist. Being on the waitlist does not guarantee access. Paid subscription plans are billed through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Data Handling

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We store your X/Twitter data, OAuth tokens, voice profiles, and usage data as necessary to provide the Service. We take reasonable measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Prohibited Conduct

  • Using Rex to spam, harass, or deceive others.
  • Circumventing rate limits or access controls.
  • Reverse-engineering or attempting to extract the Service's underlying models or algorithms.
  • Reselling or redistributing the Service without permission.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rex and the Rex Team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of followers, engagement, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
